"For his great contribution to the development of national culture and art, many years of fruitful activity" Roman Miroshnichenko was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland". The corresponding decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin was published on September 14, 2022.

Roman Miroshnichenko returned to Moscow after a fall tour Russia, which took place from August 24 to September 10 with a resounding success. The first part of the tour took place in the format of joint concerts by the Roman group and the Vladimir Philharmonic Chamber String Orchestra with the "World Hits" program. In the second part of the tour, in Kaluga, Kovrov and Vladimir, Roman Miroshnichenko presented a joint project "Viva La Rock" with the bass player of the legendary "Whitesnake" Marco Mendoza. The final concert was held to a full house at the Moscow International House of Music.
 
 
Most of the concerts were held in the open air and despite the cool weather, in every city the audience filled the square with the stage to capacity. According to many music lovers who have attended concerts, the dynamism, energy and fuse that Marco Mendoza and Roman Miroshnichenko gave to their fans is an incomparable pleasure. The plans of the musicians - further cooperation. In October they will meet again at concerts in Switzerland, Spain and Holland.

Roman Miroshnichenko became a voting member of the National Academy of Art and Science of Recording, which determines the nominees and winners of the Grammy Awards.

"Congratulations! Your peers have deemed you as one of the select individuals to join the Recording Academy as part of the new member class of 2022. This invitation is a reflection of your creativity, leadership, and contributions to the recording arts. Moreover, it’s an opportunity to serve your community, celebrate your craft, and build a stronger future for all music makers." - said in an official letter from the Academy.

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences is a music academy that has given Grammy awards annually since 1959 in more than 100 categories of all genres and directions. It brings together 18,000 members: outstanding musicians, producers, sound engineers and other figures associated with the music industry.

“I know firsthand that it is not easy to break into the number of Grammy applicants and to join the jury,” says Roman Miroshnichenko. - I have experience of participating in the jury of the prestigious The Independent Music Awards (IMA). Since 2017, in the company of such stars as Tom Waits, Susan Vega, Robert Smith, Arturo Sandoval, Joe Satriani and many others, I am part of the IMA jury. I am glad and proud that my colleagues considered it important that I join the NARAS Recording Academy. Now I have the right to nominate artists for the Grammy and take part in the selection rounds of voting up to the final round.

Roman Miroshnichenko performed on Red Square

From June 3 to 6, the main literary event of the year, the Red Square Book Festival, took place in the capital. This year the concept and line-up of the music program has been updated and Red Square has become a festival of festivals. The “ambassadors” of the top shows and competitions united on the stage: “Wild Mint”, “Voice”, “Heat”, Moscow Music Week and others. The participants presented the whole palette of musical genres - from nostalgic pop music to jazz and hard rock.

One of the headliners of the parade of festivals was Roman Miroshnichenko, who presented the international music forum "World of Guitar" on June 5th. His performance, the program of which included purely author's compositions, was a great success on the stage of Red Square.
