Steve Vai’s double disc DVD “Stillness in Motion: Vai Live in L.A.Stillness In Motion" includes a bonus disc premiering “The Space Between the Notes", a revelatory video diary comprised of more than three and a half hours of footage, lensed around the world on-stage, off-stage and behind-the-scenes, rehearsal and the show moments of Steve's joint performance with Roman Miroshnichenko rock-band and Moscow symphony during Vai’s epic "Story of Light" World Tour.
Australian-Chilean composer/arranger Igor Ledermann and Roman Miroshnichenko got together to do a track “Tigris” for his album “Bridges: A Musical Journey”. There are some great performances on the record and so many other amazing artists performing beautiful world-beat songs, and one of them “Tigris”(named by Roman, like a song about the eastern member of the two great rivers that define Mesopotamia) perfectly held together by Igor, Burak Besir(Turkey, ney), Randall Ledermann(Chile, duduk), Carlos Diaz (Chile, darbuka) and Roman on acoustic guitars. Pretty cool mix of Latin and East folk. Check out the track:
