On May, 28th - June 1st, 2018 in Kaluga, Russia took place the XXI International Festival "World Of Guitar". Traditionally, one of the largest guitar forums in Europe, within five days were presented a variety of musical genres. On the first day the World and Russian premieres were held. They were presented by Spanish flamenco virtuoso Juan Manuel Cañizares and renown Danish guitarist Henrik Andersen accompanied by the "Moscow Symphony". Roman Miroshnichenko was a special guest of the festival opening. Also, one of the festival days on May, 30th was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of his creative activity. In this concert, Roman shared the stage with the American star: ex-guitarist of Michael Jackson - Jennifer Batten.
Once again the festival "World Of Guitar" was attended by musicians from Russia, USA, Europe, and CIS, – Roman Miroshnichenko said. – thus we demonstrate that despite everything there are no borders and politics in the world of music!

The winning projects were selected by blue-ribbon panels of top recording artists that include: Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan, Slayer, The Kills, Lalah Hathaway, Meshell Ndegeocello, Sepultura, Dido, Warren Haynes, Suzanne Vega, Shelby Lynne; previous IMA Winners and Nominees including: Geroge Benson, Meghan Trainor, Jeff Healey, Larry Carlton, Noshir Mody, Rozina Pátkai and Ingrid Gerdes, among many others; and influential press and talent buyers from the Americas, Europe and Pacific Rim.
Winners will be announced at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York on March 30th-31st.

We're proud to announce that Roman Miroshnichenko just made semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) under the “Instrumental" category for his composition “Ups&Downs” and under the "Jazz" category for his composition "Ascension". Both tracks are from the latest Award-winning album "Ascension". Сheers!
The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is an annual song contest which has the most prestigious panel of judges (Tom Waits, Billy Cobham, John Mayal to name a few) of all the songwriting and music contests in the world. With over 16,000 entries from more than 100 countries, this is Roman's 18th and 19th official recognitions in the most prestigious US music competitions he was nominated since 2010.

We are proud to announce that Roman Miroshnichenko's composition "Adios Amigo" from his latest album "Ascension" made FINALIST of the UK Songwriting Contest, "Instrumental" category!
A UKSC spokesperson said : “The UK Songwriting Contest judges include top multi- platinum Grammy, Emmy and BRIT Award winning songwriters and producers who have worked closely with such artists as Christina Aguilera, Sting, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Oasis, Britney Spears and many others. There were more than 6,000 entries in the 2017 contest and we are pleased that muli-Award winning guitarist and composer Roman Miroshnichenko has achieved such an impressive result in this year’s event and wish him every success in the future.”
The UK Songwriting Contest was launched in London in 2002. To this day UKSC is one of the longest running songwriting contests in the world.
